Dengue Fever Prevention

    Dengue fever is commonly found in tropical and sub-tropical regions. It is caused by viruses that are spread by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. It is reported that scientists have not discovered any vaccines to protect people against the virus. The only thing that people can do is to create good sanitation to minimize the spread of Aedes aegypti mosquito.

    The spread of the mosquito can be prevented by cleaning areas that are potentially used as breeding sites. The mosquitoes live near water and lay their eggs in the walls of water containers. They may live in unsealed septic tanks or water tanks, discarded tyres and bottles, or vases. We have to regularly check our surroundings and throw discarded bottles or tyres away and close any water containers.

    Wearing clothes that cover the whole body or sleeping under a mosquito net at night are good precautions. It is always emphasised that a single bite from Aedes aegypti is enough to make you sick. Living with good sanitation is a must.

    Have you ever used a glue gun? Is it a dangerous weapon? No, it is not a weapon and it is not even dangerous at all This is a tool for helping us stick items such as wood, metal paper, plastic, and so on with the form of a gun. The heat from the gun will melt the glue stick and turn it into liquid that we usually use for sticking those items. Here are several steps in operating a glue gun.

    First; check the glue gun from any old glue clogging in the nozzle, if there is any, you may clean it.  After the nozzle is clean, you can insert a glue stick into the nozzle of the gun.

    Second, plug the gun's cable into a power outlet. Make sure that the cable is plugged safely in the power outlet. Wait for a minute for making the glue gun warmer. When the glue gun is warm enough, you may squeeze the trigger gently to make the glue stick has changed into liquid form.

    Finally, when the glue has transformed into liquid form, you can apply the glue to the thing you want to stick using this glue gun. This glue gun is available for any surface and material such as wood, metal paper, plastic, and so on.
