    Littering can be defined as making a place or area untidy with rubbish, or incorrectly disposing waste. It causes pollution, a major threat to the environment, and has increasingly become a cause for concern in many countries 1)____ There are some reasons which support my opinion.

    Firstly, 2)____ It wastes our natural resources. Litter releases things into the environment that it's not equipped to handle, and wastes natural resources that could otherwise be repurposed. Trash gives off harmful gases that hurt the air and atmosphere, such as methane.

    Secondly, 3)____ Litter can be very dirty. It may carry germs. Some animals are attracted to areas with lots of litter. They find their food among the trash and can pick up the germs and become carriers for diseases that may make people sick.
