Best Friend Forever Among many friends that people have, some of them may eventually become true friends. Those who finally become true friends usually have these characteristics. First, true friends have a commitment to their friends' happiness. True friends are consistently willing to put their friends happiness before friendship. True friends will not refrain from telling something that may even risk breaking the friendship for the sake of their friends' happiness. That is because they will not lack the mercy to correct their friends when the friends are wrong. The next characteristic is respect. True friends respect their friends' life principle, and will not ask them to place the friendship before the principle. They will not ask their friends to compromise the principle in the name of friendship or anything else. The last characteristic deals with a good influence. True friends inspire their comrades to live up to their best potential, and not to indulge their friends' best drive. Best friends forever are friends with those traits. In a friendship of people with such characters, people can look forward to having healthy relationship, which is a contributory factor in life happiness. Task 2: Questions 1. Read the following text and answer the questions! Advantages and Disadvantages of Mobile Phones. Everything has been being changed by technology. Mobile phones and Internet have the great role in making advantages as well as disadvantages. The debate appears when the devices are used by students. The most advantageous thing of mobile phones when students use is getting connected. With cell phones in hand, students are encouraged to build collaborative learning. they are able to share notes and lesson with others. Additionally with mobile phones, parents of the students will be less worried since they can easily contact their children. The second advantages is the existence of mobile phone's feature as memory aids. Students can store some important documents of their lessons in notes, photos, or videos. Because of the portability, the documents kept in that mobile phones can be easily used when they are in necessity. Besides some advantages stated above, mobile phones also give some disadvantages when used by students. Reduction in learning is one of the disadvantages. With mobile phone in hands of students, they are attracted to focus on their phones call and messages and pay less attention to their lessons and school works. Again, the negative effects on using mobile phones, students potentially do cheating. Mobile phones makes students cheat easily on tests and assignments. They can simply send a text answer to their friends. They have the ability and opportunity to cheat. Finally, the disadvantages actually can be avoided if the parents properly guide their children on the advantageous way of using mobile phones.

“2012” Film Review “2012” is Roland Emmerich’s film which uses the Mayan calendar and other end-of-days prophecies for their doomsday scenario. It imagines the world coming to an end in “2012”. “2012”film brings off a series of wonders. The movie hits its peak early on. It starts when Cusack drives a limo through the streets of Los Angeles as freeways and skyscrapers crumble all around him from the sock of a 10.5 earthquake. The preposterous flying sequence is equally thrilling. The climax occurs aboard the giant ark when an equipment malfunction almost threatens the entire mission. Unfortunately, the crucial sequence is not filmed or edited with the requisite clarity. In “2012”film, Emmerich leaves us befuddled as to exactly what is happening to whom. However, Emmerich’s “2012” deserves credit for offbeat casting. Cusack supplies his trademark hangdog charm. McCarthy has perhaps his best role ever as Peet’s cocky. Danny Glover lends dignity to the role of the tormented president. Chiwetel Ejiofor, as the chief scientist, brings a moving sense of anguish to a stock role. Platt has fun playing the villain of the piece, and Woody Harrelson also chews the scenery as a bug-eyed radio prophet trying to warn his listeners about Armageddon. All in one, 2012’s cinematography, production design and visual effects are awards-worthy. Music also propels the movie. It presents American idol runner-up, Adam Lambert, who provides a rousing anthem over the end credits. If you have to express your impression toward this review, what do you think about this? A.
