Ini dapat diketahui pada baris 10 bahwa mereka baru menyadari tidak bisa menembus es yang menghalangi perjalanan mereka pada malam Natal, dan dijelaskan pada paragraf keempat bahwa setidaknya kapal penyelamat baru dapat mencapai mereka minimal dua hari, artinya mereka tidak dapat merayakan hari Natal, maka jawaban E yang tepat.
