The Benefits of Sleeping
Sleeping is important for our health. In fact, it is as important as eating and exercising. Unfortunately, many people sometimes forget about the benefit of sleeping, whereas the quantity and quality of sleeping should be things that we are aware of. Here are some benefits of sleeping.
Studies show that poor sleep affects hormones that regulate appetite. Those who get adequate sleep tend to eat fewer calories than those who do not. So, having a good sleeping is needed by our bodies.
Lack of sleep reduces our ability to interact socially. It is confirmed by some studies that people not having enough sleep have a reduced ability to recognize expressions of anger and happiness. Researchers believe that poor sleep affects our ability to recognize important social cues and process emotional information.
