The Benefits of Sleeping
Sleeping is important for our health. In fact, it is as important as eating and exercising. Unfortunately, many people sometimes forget the benefits of sleeping. The quantity and quality of sleeping should be something that we are aware of. Here are some benefits of sleeping.
Studies show that poor sleep affects hormones that regulate appetite. Those who get adequate sleep tend to eat fewer calories than those who don't. So, having a good sleeping is needed by our bodies.
Sleep loss reduces our ability to interact socially. It is confirmed by some studies that people who had not slept had a reduced ability to recognize expressions of anger and happiness. Researchers believe that poor sleep affects our ability to recognize important social cues and process emotional information.
Based on the arguments elaborated above, sleeping helps to reduce our appetites and increase our ability to interact socially. So, sleeping is important for our health.
