Sugar Gliders can occupy any area where there are tree hollows for shelter and sufficient food. Their diet varies considerably with both geography and the changing seasons, but the main items are the sap of acacias and certain eucalypts, nectar, pollen, and arthropods. 

Unlike many native animals, particularly smaller ones, Sugar Gliders are not endangered. Despite the massive loss of natural habitat in Australia over the last 200 years, they are adaptable and capable of living in surprisingly small patches of  bush. 

I was sleeping when Goldie ran from it’s cage. I did not know what to do when I found out that it was gone. I asked my parents to help me find it but they said that I had to find it by myself. I regretted that I did not take care of him. 

Goldie has fur that is usually gray, tan, brown, or black.It is greatly in size, depending on the species. Their wings can measure from 6 inches to 5 feet across when spread open. Their ears point forward and are usually very large. 

I usually put them in a cage at night so it won’t escape. It can fly, but it’s cage is not really big, so I rarely see it flying. Goldie likes to play at night when I am sleeping. However, it sometimes sleeps during the day.
