A. When the document is ready a processor converts the digital pages into fine pixels for offset printing. A laser writes these pixels, separated per colour, on a specially coated.

B. The machine’s transport system guides the first sheets through the press.

C. One or more designers proofread the first draft. Typo mistakes are corrected. The correctors may suggest changes in the general.

D. Somebody, a person, a company, an organization, the administration, wants to communicate something to a lot of people.

E. Some designers take the communicate idea and shape it inside a computer. Digital images, graphics and text are set up.

F. When the paper is printed they fold it, stitch it or staple it. Then they stack it and prepare it for transport.

G. The printers prepare the machine for printing by using all the prepress data: ink, cylinders and paper are ready.

I. The paper goes through the machine again in order to add more colours. The printer checks that all superposed images.

J. The product final is loaded, carried and then delivered. The job is complete.

K. A group of experts decide on the message. They may also include some ideas on how they want to convey it.

L. If the proof is OK the printer goes ahead and pushes a button. Then the machine goes faster.
