Once upon a time, in a glorious land of Laos, the land of a million elephants, there lived a little boy by the name of Mansay who is very good at the pebble shooter game. He could even hit at leaves in the topmost part of tall trees. One day as he and his friend was sitting alone under a large banyan tree, he started flicking pebbles at the leaves. The sunlight that came through the leaf made an image on the ground. "It looks like a boy dancing haha!" And so it did. when the leaves fluttered and sun rays moved with them, the image Underground would move beautifully. The children were enjoying the show end almost didn't see the king and his soldiers approaching that way, but they turned as they heard the sounds. The king noticed Mansay talent had decided to bring the boy back to his Castle. It turned out the king brought Mansay to the palace to do something for him. He wanted Mansay to shoot bitter orange peels into the mouth of one of his minister who wouldn’t stop in every meeting they had.His name was minister Eric. Mansay agreed but he forgot to asked which minister it was. So he waited behind the curtain to find out which one spoke the most. “There has been a robbery within this castle. Does anyone has anything to say about it?” the king started the meeting and soon after Mansay could locate his target. He readied his slingshot and threw the rotten orange peel straight into the minister’s mouth. whenever Minister Eric had said too much, Mansay would shoot a peel to his mouth so Eric remained quiet for the whole time and had no other choice but to listen to the others. Thanks to that, the other ministers got their chance to speak their mind one by one, at last. One of the minister suggested that there had been a circus visiting the palace and at every places they visit, something would always be missing. So, the king order that other minister to keep an eye to that circus at the next place they would go to. To minister Eric’s surprise, it was actually a very good idea, he didn’t expect it coming from the other minister. “What do you think about that minister Eric?” The king asked. Minister Eric was afraid to open his mouth but he finally said “It’s a good idea and I agree to the plan.” “Excellent! It really is nice to hear MANY DIFFERENT opinions, isn’t it?” the king replied. After the meeting was over the King came up to Minister Eric and said “Do you realize now that giving others a chance to speak is an important thing?”. “Yes, I’m sorry for the way I behave. I will try hard to change from now on” The king was pleased with Mansay and allowed him to stay in the palace. He was well fed and looked after. He lived a very happy life, displaying his skill to the others and as for Minister Eric? Well, he was trueto his word and tried hard to allow others voice their thoughts because listening to others opinion is a very important thing Does this story above have a coda?
