Soal ini meminta untuk melengkapi dengan Past Simple atau Present Perfect. Present Perfect menyatakan bahwa sesuatu terjadi (atau tidak pernah terjadi). Waktu terjadinya tidak jelas. Sedangkan jika waktu terjadinya jelas menggunakan Simple Past Tense. Kata keterangan yang digunakan dalam Present Perfect antara lain ever, never, since, dll. Present Perfect juga menyatakan sesuatu yang terjadi di masa lampau dan berlanjut sampai sekarang dan juga menyatakan sebuah pencapaian. Dengan demikian nomor 1,2,5,7,9. menggunakan Past Tense .
