    I want to tell you about birds of paradise. Bird of paradise is one of the most attractive birds in the world. It can be found in the tropical rainforests of south east Asia, mainly in the jungles of Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and parts of eastern Australia.

    Birds of paradise are famous for the beautiful feathers. However, only male birds have bright feathers. They use their feathers to attract the attention of the surrounding female birds. On the other hand, female birds are dull-looking and generally smaller than male birds. Female birds also have light brown feathers and have a similar appearance to nightingales.

    Birds of paradise are attractive, energetic, and highly dramatic, especially the male birds. They spend most of their time performing little dances. They need space around their habitat to practise their dances.

    There are around 50 different birds of paradise species that range from 15 cm to over a meter in height. Many birds of paradise species feed on fruits and berries found in the canopy of the surrounding jungle and only small numbers of them eat insects.
