Pembahasan

Larutan penyangga (buffer) dibuat dengan 2 cara, yaitu:

  1. Cara langsung: dengan mencampurkan larutan asam lemah atau basa lemah dengan garamnya
  2. Cara tidak langsung: dengan mereaksikan larutan asam/basa kuat dengan asam/basa lemah berlebih. Pada cara ini, asam/basa kuat menjadi pereaksi pembatas, sehingga di akhir reaksi akan tersisa asam/basa lemah dengan garamnya.
