    Everybody needs friends. You can feel very sad and lonely if you don't have someone to play with. 

    Friendship is a type of relationship between two people who care about each other. Friends usually spend time together, share ideas and treats, have fun, respect each other's differences, and care for each other's safety and well-being. In other words, friendship is wonderful. But that's not to say friendship is easy. It demands time and effort, and it requires that people put someone other than themselves first sometimes. 

    Many things are necessary for a good friendship, for example honesty, trustworthiness, loyalty, and unconditional acceptance. A friendship makes people in the relationship happy; both people have fun when they spend time together.

    For two people to become best friends, you have to really know and understand each other well. This can only happen over a long time, not just a few days. Friendship is like planting a seed that you have found. You are not quite sure what is going to come up so you have to watch it carefully and look after it.
