Javanese Braised Eggs (Telur Pindang)

Ingredients:

• 6 hard-boiled eggs
• 1 clove garlic
• 2 shallots
• 1 bay leaf
• 2 lime leaves
• 300 ml water
• 1 bag tea
•  1/4 lemongrass
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 ^1/2 tablespoon salt
• 2 tablespoon sweet soy sauce

Instructions:

• First, boil the eggs for 7 minutes. After the eggs boiled, take them out and peel. Grind the salt, shallots, and garlic.
• Pour the water into a heat. Then, add the ground ingredients, eggs, bay leaf, lemongrass, lime leaves, and tea bag.
• Next, pour the sweet soy sauce. Stir the egg, and keep cooking until all sides of the egg have the colour of dark brown.
• Finally, turn off heat and serve immediately.
