Yesterday I went to Nina's birthday party. I was so excited because it was my best friend's birthday. I was so grateful that I had already prepared the presents a while ago. I wrapped the presents with a pink wrapper because Nina likes pink. I bought her a pouch with pictures of unicorns. She must love it!

The party started in the evening. The snacks and beverages tasted good. Everyone cheered and congratulated Nina on her 14th birthday. I approached her and gave her a big hug. When I was going to give my present, I couldn't find it in my bag. Oh my God! I forgot to bring it. I called my mother and she said I left it on my bed. I was so upset at myself.

I apologised to Nina and she said it was totally okay. I promised her that I would absolutely give it the next day. Afterwards, we all sang birthday songs together.
