How to Jump a Car Battery

    An old battery of a car sometimes puts us into trouble. It makes our car difficult to be ignited because the battery power is low. To solve the problem, we can jump the battery with another car. All we need to do is as follows.

Materials:

• A car with an old battery (dead car).
• A car with a better battery (donor car).
• 1 red cable with sufficient length.
• 1 black cable with sufficient length.

Steps:

1. Park the car close to each other.
2. Open each of the car's hoods.
3. Make sure the cable is in good condition.
4. Connect the cable from one battery to another. Make sure the positive pole touch the positive pole of another battery. Remember, do not touch the metal part from the battery or the cable to avoid electric shock.
5. Connect the negative pole of the donor car to the bare metal of the dead car.
6. Start the engine of the donor car.
7. Throttle the donor car up a little bit.
8. Start the dead car.
9. Finally, when the car is turned on, don't forget to disconnect the cables.
10. Do not do this when raining or in a wet condition.
11. Change the old battery immediately.
