Soal di atas meminta kita untuk melengkapi kalimat rumpang sesuai dengan kalimat pernyataandi atas. Kalimat pernyataan tersebutmembahas tentang perbandingan antara 2 hal yang biasa kita sebut comparative degree dalam bahasa Inggris. "More" memilki arti "lebih banyak", kita dapat menggunakan kata ini untuk plural countable maupun uncountable nouns. Fewer memiliki arti "lebihsedikit", kita menggunakan kata ini bersamaan dengan plural countable noun. "Less" juga memiliki arti "lebih sedikit", kita dapat menggunakan kata ini dengan uncountable nouns. Pada teks terdapat kalimat " There are more students in the morning and fewer in the afternoon." maka kita akan melengkapi bagian rumpang pertama dengan " more students.." yang artinya "lebih banyak murid". Sedangkan untuk kalimat rumpang kedua kita melengkapinya dengan "fewer.." yang artinya "lebih sedikit murid.". Dengan demikian, kalimat yang utuh ialah "Yuni is saying that usually there are more students in the library in the morning, and there are fewerin the afternoon."
