Work in pairs. Read and practice the following dialog.

Monica : Hi, Jihan. Do you agree that learning English is hard?

Jihan : I totally disagree. You don't have to remember the grammar pattern or understand every single word. I look up each new word in my dictionary.

Monica : Yes, I like reading too, but I rarely use a dictionary.

Jihan : So how do you know the meaning of each new word?

Monica : I usually guess the meaning of new words. You can use my method.

Jihan : Well, I'll try it at home I guess.

Loni : Well, I keep vocabulary cards and I write each word with its translation. What do you guys think about that?

Jihan : That's a good idea.

Monica : I think I am too lazy to do that.
