Pertanyaan

Read the story carefully for the question below! Once upon a time, there was a little tortoise living at Candy village with his neighbours. They had enjoyed their life before an arrogant rabbit came to the village. The rabbit always thought that rabbit was the best animal ever. He usually mocked other animals because they moved so slowly and needed more time to go somewhere. One day, the head of the village announced a running competition. The winner would get a great prize including meals for a year. The rabbit confidently registered himself as a participant and loudly said to others, “I’m sure that I will be the winner. I’m the fastest animal in this village. You’d better go home and just watch me win this competition!”. After listening it, the tortoise was confused, whether he should participate this competition or not. In fact, he really needed the prize. Luckily, he still had friends who always supported and ensured him to register himself. Every day, he practised himself to run faster and faster. The day of competition finally came. The rabbit, the tortoise, and other animals were ready to run. After starting, the rabbit was at the first place. The distance between him and other animals was far enough. Because he believed that no one could run faster, he took a rest under a tree for a while. He asked the tree to wake him up after 5 minutes. Knowing that he was so cocky, the tree did not do it and let other participants leave him at the last place. The rabbit suddenly realized that the tortoise won this competition when he just woke up. He was very angry. Then, he decided to move to another village. What is the moral value of the text?
