In pairs, practice the following dialog. Answer the questions that follow Bagus: What are you reading, Mawar? Mawar: I am reading news about protest against global warming. Bagus: Interesting. But, who are the protest addressed to? Global warming is a worldwide issue. Mawar: It's not really addressed to aperson or institution. It is more to raise awareness to put effort tofight against global warming. Bagus: O.K. What do the protesters ask, then? Mawar: Plenty. They want people to start using green products, use less fossil fuels, and many more. Bagus: Who are these protesters? Are they from an environmentalist community? Mawar: Several of them. But, you know what is interesting? Most of the protesters are teenagers like us. Bagus: Why are so many teenagers joining the protest? Mawar: Because we will be the ones who will feel the damage of the worsening global warming. Think about it. Bagus: That's true. Our parents might no longer live by the time the effect is worsening. Mawar: We should also try our best to stop the worsening effect of global warming. As a teenager, what is your opinion about the teenagers' action of protesting against global warming?

Jawaban soal merupakan pendapat. Oleh karena itu, perhatikan dialog dengan baik dan pahami tentang aksi protes remaja terhadap pemanasan global. Kemudian gunakan expression of opinion seperti "In my opinion...", "In my experience...", "I think...", "I really feel that..." dan lain-lain. Kemudian berikan alasan dengan menggunakan kata penghubung yang menunjukkan alasan seperti "because", "since" dan lain-lain. Gunakan sequencers seperti "First of all", "secondly" dan lain-lain untuk menyusun kalimat dengan jelas dan teratur. Kemudian tutup kalimat dengan kesimpulan menggunakan frasa menyimpulkan seperti "In conclusion", "To sum up", "Finally" dan lain-lain. Contoh jawaban, In my opinion, the teenagers' action of protesting against global warming is a great step to follow because first, we will be the ones who face the consequences in the future. Second, young people tend to be more creative so we can help in finding the solution. To sum up, I think teenagers are the right actor to protest in this issue.
