Read the text answer the following question!

    Once upon a time there was a young man named Cleland who lived at the edge of the forests. He was a woodcutter by trade, but what he loved best was painting. He painted pictures of animals,  flowers, majestic trees. He often wished he had better brushes to make better pictures.

    One day, as he was lying in his bed, a fairy suddenly appeared. She said, "You are good boy, Cleland. I have brought a brush and paints for you, with them you will be able to make a real pictures." The next morning, Cleland painted the picture of a butterfly. When it was done it jumped up off the paper and flew to the top of a bush. "Oh, I have a magic brush!" said Cleland. "Indeed, everything I paint become real."

    When the King heard about the magic brush he asked his souldiers to bring Cleland to him. "Cleland", he said, "You will paint a big castle for me. I also want you to paint beautiful clothes and pieces of gold."

    As Cleland tried to refuse the King added: "You will have no food or water until you have finished these pictures." Then he put the young man in a little room, at the top of a tower and locked the door. When the King came to the room the next day, the room was empty. Can you guess how Cleland managed to escape? He had painted a ladder and climbed out of the window.
