Batu, East Java, has many interesting tourism objects. One of them is Selecta. It is located in a village called Tulungrejo, about 6 km from the city. The 20 ha spot is always full of visitors who come to enjoy the beauty of the place.

In 1 928, Selecta was first built by the Dutch with Reyter Dewi ld as its name. It is located in a valley with a height of 1, 1 00 m above . sea level. The temperature is ab9ut 1 7°C. This tourism area has a famous Sima Sakti Hotel. This is the hotel where the first president of I ndonesia, Mr Soekarno and his vice president, Mr Moh: Hatta discussed the country's conception . Selecta is supported by various facilities, such as restaurants, fruit market, tennis court, swimming pools, rides, amazing gardens, playground, wide parking areas, and- security. No wonder it has become a favourite recreational place for families and groups.
