I was counting down the seconds as I watched the clock. I didn't even hear what the teacher was saying. All I know is I was ready to leave. It was Friday. I heard some chatter in the background, but I didn't listen. All I could think about was how good the food would be that day. I would order a thick hamburger and some fries with extra ketchup. My parents had promised to take me to Jake's Hamburger Stop. Finally the bell rang. I jumped up and ran to my locker. A lot of papers flew out. I just stuffed them back in, grabbed my things, and ran down the hallway.
