Dear diary, Today was the hundredth time that I had to talk to Miss Brenda. She’s been talking to me about my best friend, Emily. She always tells me about how I should let her go and meet new friends instead of only focusing on her all the time. She doesn’t understand though. Emily is the only friend I have and I can trust her with everything. My mum always looks at me strangely when I talk to Emily at home and all the kids in my neighbourhood think I’m crazy. It’s not as if I’m some sort of freak, it’s just that I’m the only person who can see her. Everyday when I come home from school, I hear Emily singing our favourite song on the swing in my front yard. Her voice is unique. When I hear it, I am immediately comforted and I feel warm inside. We spend lots of time together in my room, talking about school and playing with my toys. Emily is perfect to me; beautiful lush brown hair which reaches down to her hips and deep, calm eyes which seem bluer than the bluest ocean. The very best thing about her is that she is a part of me, not only in my mind, but she’s also in my heart and I know that she always will be. Today was the hundredth time that I had to talk to Miss Brenda. She’s been talking to me about my best friend, Emily. She always tells me about how I should let her go and meet new friends instead of only focusing on her all the time. She doesn’t understand though.
