Soal ini meminta untuk menuliskan tujuan, ide pokok, dan kalimat pendukung dari masing-masing paragraf berdasarkan teks pada Activity 8. Teks pada Activity 8 adalah teks deskriptif. Tujuan dari penulisan teks deskriptif adalah utamanya untuk mengidentifikasi obyek, tempat, atau orang yang akan dideskripsikan serta untuk mendeskripsikan bagian-bagian, karakteristik, atau kualitas dari obyek, tempat, atau orang tersebut. Ide pokok adalah gagasan yang menjadi inti dari suatu paragraf. Kalimat pendukung merupakan kalimat-kalimat yang menjelaskan ide pokok yang terletak setelah maupun sebelum ide pokok. Paragraf 1 Paragraf pertama merupakan paragraf yang mengenalkan pembaca pada subyek yang akan dideskripsikan.
