She needs the money, but that means she would be stealing someone's ring. Finally she said, "No, I have to return this ring to the king." Then, Putri Kemuning went to see the king at his palace. ''What is your name and what is your purpose here?", said the king. "My name is Putri Kemuning. I am here to return your ring," answered Putri Kemuning. "Goodness me, I have been looking for this ring everywhere. To show you my gratitude, let me give you a gift. What is it that you want?" said the king. "Nothing, Your Majesty. The ring is yours, so I am only returning something that already belongs to you. I just want to go home and take care of my sick mother." Putri Kemuning answered. ''You have such a pure heart. Here, take this gift. Please, as a form of appreciation." said the king. Putri Kemuning then took the gift and went home. Once she got home, she told the story to her mother.
