The past perfect, also called the pluperfect, is a verb tense used to talk about actions that were completed before some point in the past. The Past Perfect tense in English is composed of two parts: the past tense of the verb to have (had) + the past participle of the main verb. (Verb yang digunakan dalam past perfect tense adalah kata kerja bentuk ketiga, atau sering disebut dengan dengan past participle. Past perfect tense dibentuk dengan auxiliary verb “had”, dan past participle (verb-3). Had digunakan baik untuk singular maupun plural subject.)
