<p> </p><p>The Past Perfect Tense is used to show that an action was completed before another action in the past. The structure is:</p><p>S + had + V3 (past participle)</p><p>This means we use "had" + the past participle form of the verb (V3).</p><p>Examples:</p><p>1. Before I went to the party, I had finished my homework.</p><p>This means: First, I finished my homework, and then I went to the party.</p><p> </p><p>2. They had left before the rain started.</p><p>This means: They left first, and after that, the rain started.</p><p><br>In both examples, there are two events, and the one that happened earlier uses the Past Perfect.</p><p>So, Past Perfect is used to talk about something that happened before another past action.</p><p> </p>

Pola dasar kalimatnya adalah: S + had + past participle (Verb 3) Contoh Kalimat 1. Affirmative (Positif): "Dia sudah menyelesaikan tugasnya sebelum kelas dimulai." (She had finished her assignment before the class started.) 2. Negative (Negatif): "Dia tidak pernah pergi ke luar negeri sebelum dia menikah." (He had never gone abroad before he got married.) 3. Interrogative (Tanya): "Apakah kamu sudah makan sebelum dia datang?" (Had you eaten before he arrived?) Jadi, itulah penjelasan jawaban dari pertanyaan kamu.
