Halo, kakak bantu jawab ya :) Soal meminta untuk melengkapi bagian rumpang dengan auxiliary verb. Auxiliary verb adalah kata pembantu yang berfungsi untuk melengkapi kata kerja utama pada sebuah kalimat. Macam-macamnya yaitu be (is, am, are, was were), do (do, does, did), have (have, has, had), dan modals (can, may, must, shall, will, could, might, should, would). Kalimat rumpang merupakan kalimat negatif Simple Past Tense yang menyatakan kejadian di masa lampau. Rumusnya adalah S + did not + V1 + 0. Berdasarkan rumus, bagian rumpang seharusnya diisi dengan did not. Kalimat lengkap menjadi "Mike did not go on vacation last summer. He was too busy" yang artinya "Mike tidak pergi berlibur musim panas lalu. Dia terlalu sibuk". Jadi, jawaban yang benar adalah did not.
