Tadpoles live in the water. They go through metamorphosis process in which they change in form or habit on the way to become adult frogs or toads. Most tadpoles respite though infernal gills. they do not usually have arms of legs. A tadpole has fin-like parts and a tail with which it swims, similar to a fish. As a tadpole matures, it gradually grows limbs and absorbs its tail. Its lungs develop around the time of the leg development, will often be found near the surface of the water where they breath the hair.
