Luckily, we had all prepared our stuff in our luggage, so we didn't have to pack in the morning. We directly put our clothes on and went to our car. We were hoping that the traffic jams wouldn't be that crazy. Otherwise, we would not make it. God was good, indeed. The highway was very smooth and not jammed at all. We arrived at the airport on time. We all checked in and then went aboard the plane. About 30 minutes later, the plane took off.

When we first landed at the Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, we got a taxi and asked the driver to take us to the Tunjungan Hotel, the place where my mom was staying. He drove us to the hotel. When we arrived, we met Mother at the hotel lobby. My father and I took a shower first in the hotel room since my father and I hadn't had a chance to shower.

The hotel was connected to Tunjungan Plaza, one of the biggest malls in Surabaya, so my family went to the mall. The mall was really big and spacious. We shopped and had dinner there. After that, we went to our hotel room to rest.

The next morning, we had breakfast at the hotel. The food was so delicious that I ate a lot. After that, we visited many cool places such as House of Sampoerna, the Submarine Monument, and many more. I took many photos there. Unfortunately, my father needed to go back to Jakarta for a sudden meeting. I was really sad to leave Surabaya, but it was okay since my father promised to take me to Jakarta Aquarium. We said goodbye to Mother and flew back to Jakarta. I really enjoyed my short trip.
