Last week my classmates and I went to a pizza restaurant. We went there together for a special event. The restaurant held a pizza eating challenge. However, it was not just an ordinary pizza. Three participants were challenged to finish a triple-sized pizza. The challenge was to eat the pizza in three minutes or less. So far, only a few people completed the challenge and they mostly finished very close to time limit. The prize was a weekly free pizza coupon every year.

To deal with the challenge, my classmate and I practiced and followed handful tips from world eating champions. First, we tried to strengthen our jaws by eating much food. Then, we drank adequate water and got good slept before the competition to help our digestions.

In the restaurant, there was also a group of people trying the challenge. We decided to observe them for a while. The group was doing a great job that they finished the pizza though they couldn't do it on time. It took almost four minutes to eat it completely. Watching it did discourage us a little, but we decided to put a good fight.

We sat and ordered the challenge. The waiter brought us the monstrous pizza. Time started and we began eating our share. Each one got a quarter size of the pizza. Our plan was whoever finished his/her share would immediately help others.

After two minutes and a help, I ate all of my shares. But I didn't think I had enough space for more. My friends also finished their shares one by one. However, time was running out. By the time all of us ate all the pizzas, the timer was on three minutes and 5 seconds. We were so disappointed. However, luck was on our side. The manager let us slip since the pizza was no longer on the table in less than three minutes.
