They have a wide and short tail. the tail and wings help them to keep their balance when they are walking on the ground. the colour of their inner body is white and the color of their back is dark. Penguins can spend up to 75% of their lives in the water. they do all of their hunting in the water. their prey can be found within 60 feet of the surface, so penguins have no need to swim in deep water.
