Dozens of Homes Flooded After Heavy Rains Hit Banten Jakarta. Heavy rains in the last night have caused the inundation of more than 70 homes in Cimarga, in the Lebak district of Banten province, as a river overflowed. A total of 72 houses were hit by floods of up to 1.5 meters deep by monday morning. "The people living in those homes have temporarily moved to a safer place," Cimarga sub district head Ade Sutiana said, as quoted by state-run news agency Antara. "We have asked the people to move somewhere safer because it is possible that other areas will be inundated as well," Ade said. "We also asked them to stay alert.
