Hai Lala, kakak bantu jawab yaa. Jawaban dari soal ini adalah "The teacher said that the students were listening to him/her carefully." Setelah kata "said", kita tambahkan kata "that" sebagai pengganti tanda petik. Kalimat "The students are listening to me carefully" menggunakan Present Continuous Tense. Jika kita ubah menjadi kalimat tidak langsung, tense ini diubah menjadi Past Continuous Tense. Rumus dari Past Continuous Tense adalah S + to be (was/were) + V-ing + O/C. To be "was" dipakai untuk "I, he, she, it" sedangkan "were" dipakai untuk "you, we, they". Subjek dari kalimat adalah "the students" (murid-murid) yang merupakan subjek jamak dan dapat diganti dengan kata "they". Maka, to be yang dipakai adalah "were". Kemudian frasa "to me" diganti "to his/her" yang merujuk ke "the teacher". Karena gurunya tidak diketahui perempuan atau laki-laki, maka kita bisa menggunakan "his" atau "her". Kalimat tidak langsungnya akan menjadi, "The teacher said that the students were listening to him/her carefully." Maka, jawaban yang tepat adalah "The teacher said that the students were listening to him/her carefully." Semoga membantu.
