He is known as the inventor of the 4G network technology based on OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) which requires high performance with low complexity level for almost all telecommunications systems. Professor Khairul Anwar was born on August 22, 1978 in Kediri, East Java. He is the son of Sudjianto and Siti Fatıma, farmer in Kediri. His father died of illness when he graduated from elementary school in 1990. Her mother tried hard to send him school.

He continued his studies at the Bandung Institute of Technology Department of electrical engineering and received a scholarship. He graduated cum laude in 2000. He received a scholarship from panasonic to continue his master degree at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) Japan and graduated in 2005, and then later he won a scholarship to continue studying his doctoral in the same campus.

The 4G system which has been patented was used by a large Japanese electronics company. He also received an award in the scientific contributions of foreign affairs by the consulate general Osaka in 2007. He works as a lecturer and researcher in the laboratory of information theory und signal processing in Japan, advanced institute of science and technology. Although he has bnlliant achievements in Japan he has a desire to return to Indonesian.

Khoirul Anwar married Sri Yayu IndryanI and blessed with three sons. They lived in Nomi, Ishikawa, not far from his workplace.
