A long time ago, there lived a beautiful girl with her beloved father. Her mother had passed away. Then, her father married another woman.

A few weeks later, Cinderella's father traveled out of town for business. So, Cinderella lived with her step mother and step sisters. They all bossed Cinderella around. She had to do all house chores. She was tired and weak.

One day, an invitation from the palace came for all people who had daughters. Cinderella's stepsisters planned to go without her. Moreover, Cinderella didn't have the appropriate gown for the party. She was really sad.

But then a good fairy came and took pity on Cinderella. The fairy lent her a beautiful gown and pretty shoes. The fairy warned her not to go home after 12 o'clock midnight.

At the party, she met the prince, who then fell in love with her. Unfortunately, Cinderella forgot about the time. She realized that she had broken her promise to the fairy. She ran quickly and, unconsciously, left one of her shoes on the stairs.

The following morning, the prince asked his soldiers to look for the owner of the shoe. All girls tried it but it didn't fit their foot. When a soldier came to Cinderella's house, her stepsisters tried it, too. But it didn't fit. At last the soldier saw Cinderella and asked her to try. It fitted her well and Cinderella told him that she had the other shoe. So the soldier asked Cinderella to go with him to the palace and met the prince. The prince fell in love with her and asked her to marry him. Cinderella lived in the palace happily ever after.
